Rescue Story
Yuki is a poodle that was abandoned in a high-kill shelter in Korea. He was muzzled with a rope and the previous owner did vocal box surgery on him (to stop him barking). It’s cruel and heartbreaking that people do this to dogs. They want a quick fix instead of taking the time, effort, and patience it requires to properly train a dog. After he was rescued by our partner, Yuki became a good, normal dog who loves people.
About Him
Yuki still loves humans even after being abused. He greets any guests who visit, and he follows anyone who adores him. He can be energetic at the dog park, running and playing with other dogs, but also he can be calm inside the house. He likes playing with toys and he doesn’t have any motion sickness.
After he was rescued, he developed mild separation anxiety. This is very understandable and common for rescue dogs. They were not loved before and they finally feel secure and safe after being rescued. Yuki doesn't make any mess, but he howls. Because of his vocal box surgery, it is not too loud, but we still want to find an adopter who can work on his separation anxiety to let him know that he will be loved furever.
